Nothing Fishy about these Search Results…

Too many retailers and etailers still don’t get it when it comes to search engine optimization (SEO) and optimizing their websites.  From long dynamic non-SEO friendly URLs to run-of-the-site default title & meta tags that have no focus on keyword density.

A great example of a SEO-friendly etailer is AllFreshSeafood.com - this site has great title tags and seo-friendly URLs that dominate the search engines.  If you Google branzini you will find AllFreshSeafood.com #2 and #3 – as you can see below, the SEO-friendly URLs definately help!

 The site also happens to rank #1 in Google out of 7,430,000 results for fresh seafood and #2 in Google out of 39,700,000 for fresh fish

    Seeing alot of Indented results nowadays . Many companies and SEOs aim at getting such Indented listings as it gives you 2 spots in the results rather than just 1.

    Indented listing increasing the CTR by almost 53%. One of the reasons or ways to get an Indented listing would be to have a well-thought out Categories and Laser focussed content throughout your website.
