$8 Domain + SEO + Content + Links = 2,000+ Visitors
Less than six months ago I launched AllPizzaCoupons.com - a domain I registered for $8 and designed/developed for under $1,500….After performing some keyword research, I wrote the copy for the website which has no more than about 6 webpages and started to attract inbound links….
In less than four months, the website already ranks #1 and #2 in Google for frozen pizza coupons and #16 out of 30,000,000+ search results in Google for pizza coupons…with the addition of other top rankings; the website is already experiencing more than 2,000 visitors a day!
So what’s my point? My point is that if you procure the right keyword enriched domain name and add SEO + Content + Inbound Links you will get lots and lots of qualified traffic. So while it is nice to own category killer domain names, you can still dominate the internet without breaking the bank…..stay tuned!!

Good to know & Thanks for posting this valuable information ! I have bookmarked your website.
Andrew,
I’m very impressed with the simplicity and effectiveness of the plan. I see you’ve replicated it to other categories.
The site seems pretty simple it it’s setup. Did most of that $1500 go towards content creation?
Very impressive, tonic post for all new and veteran domainers.

This is Amazing! How can I get Sweet City Candy to deliver results like this?

Great post. It is amazing how using the right keyword research and proper use of those keywords can generate great traffic to your website. I’m happy to hear your pizza site is having so much success.
thanks Lauren….I know you know the basics…you need great content, good SEO and TONS of quality inbound links….
Unfortunatlely you only have a 1/10 Google Page Rank….need to get more backwards links to SweetCityCandy.com
Have you considered offering free candy for backlinks? Let’s say someone has a PageRank of 0/10 – 3/10 they would get let’s say 1lb of free candy or $25 credit at SweetCityCandy.com….if they have a PageRank of 4/10 – 7/10 they get 3 lbs of Candy or $50 credit at SweetCityCandy.com, etc.
Make sense?
Have you also looked into partnering with party planning sites?
@Ravi – thanks for the encouraging words….
@NameClerk thanks…I spent about $500 for site design/development (simple SEO-friendly CMS) and a few hundred on content and on link building services.
I’m a big fan of your domain lists and made a few purchases and flips….keep up the great work!
I also have a Top 3 Google position for ‘food coupons’ – my site is FoodCouponsDirect.com…my coupon network has over 50 URLs and growing…..
what engine is running these coupon sites?
If you’re asking which engines are supplying the coupons it’s actually a combo of Coupons.com, Google AdSense and some direct deals we’ve made…I am looking for more direct deals…
I highly enjoyed reading your blogpost, keep on creating such exciting posts!
2000 per day seems a little unrealistic to me. You sure that number is right?
Great site concept. Coupons are more popular than ever. Many of my blog posts which mention coupons for products receive a trickle of daily search traffic.
@Mark
It’s actually 1,800 – 2,000 pageviews per day per Google Analytics and the site is only about 5 pages….I have a network of a dozen coupons site with about 30 more to build/SEO…..the best for traffic are FoodCouponsDirect.com (Top3 in Google for food coupons) and AllPrintableCoupons.com (Top 5 in Google for printable coupons)
