Happy New Year everyone! I hope all your goals and aspirations become reality in 2010.
I personally am looking forward to an extraordinary 2010 at Prime Visibility - we are ready to scale and the inquiries just keep coming! Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is vital to achieving natural search engine rankings and the demand is only increasing. Our paid search management case studies speak volumes; with Client’s experiencing a 1,100% ROAS (return on ad spend) the technology we are using is dead-on! And social media is still hot, hot, hot! From viral videosto Facebook and Twitter strategies – we have increased visibility for clients by more than 4,000% with some of our social media strategies.
So as you can tell, I am quite excited about our team in 2010 – we are pushing 40+ team members at our Internet Marketing Agency and I am very pleased that domainers are really getting into developing domains and not just parking them.
Happy New Year everyone – all the best to you and your loved ones!!

According to the Google keyword tool, vancouver has more than 450,000 exact searches a month and over 16,000,000 searches a month on phrase match! There are well over 260,000 searches each month for hotel(s) vancouver and 200,000+ searches per month for vancouver jobs; the list goes on and on…
All these searches do NOT take into account that the 2010 Winter Olympics is in Vancouver!
Now YOU can own a piece of Canada with the premium geo domain name: VancouverBC.com which is a developed site currently receiving 500-700 uniques per day (all 100% organic). The website also contains hundreds of pages of unique, very professionally written content and dozens of exclusive VancouverBC.com TV shows: http://www.VancouverBC.com/videos/54/whistler,_bc
The domain name is 13 years old and has a 5 Google PageRank…
The site has generated approximately $12k in revenue this year thus far without any sales staff, just people contacting us for advertising etc.
Start the new year off right with a killer domain like VancouverBC.com – the domain is already professionally designed and developed, receiving traffic and best of all generating revenue!

There are 54,000,000+ results in Google for a search on 3G Phones and well over 1,000,000 people per month searching for 3g phones….
3GPhones.com is the perfect premium domain – own it today and start the new year right by owning the 3G phone category!
I threw up a real simple straight forward site a few weeks ago (nothing great) and traffic is steadily increasing….type-in traffic is 52% and some search rankings are starting like #6 in Bing for 3g phones…with the right owner, SEO, link program and promotion this is an unbelievable domain name for a startup or Verizon, AT&T or Sprint…can you hear me now??
Over the weekend, I read a post at Fusible Network that states Marchex is asking $1M for 3G.com – you can own 3GPhones.com for a fraction of that! I have received a low $x,xxx offer and a mid $x,xxx offer – I am looking to sell this domain name before the end of the year so please send me all serious offers to andrew [at] andrewhazen.com
Thanks in advance for all your considerations and a Happy, Healthy & Successful New Year to you and your loved ones.

I noticed ExlporeBrooklyn.com last night on a pending drop list which means the domain will be available shortly for hand registration or you can backorder thru a site like SnapNames.com or Pool.com
As I mentioned in an earlier post on ExploreStatenIsland.com a domain like ExploreBrooklyn.com can be a tourist/travel related website revolving around Brooklyn…
The screen shot below shows ‘exact search volume’ from the Google Keyword Tool and terms like Brooklyn Hotels, Brooklyn Apartments, Brooklyn Jobs, etc. all have tens and tens of thousands of monthly searches:

So…..if you are from Brooklyn or are an entreprenurial New Yorker looking for an online business model, you may want to consider grabbing ExploreBrooklyn.com and develop a well-optimized site for Brooklyn and all of its attractions. The end result can be a site that makes money via direct ad sales, affiliate marketing, email acquisition and other strategies. And if you’re also interested in BaysideNewYork.com let me know as well.

Today is the last day for the NameJet auction of Hobby.info; the current bid is $411 and the auction ends at 12:38pm PST.
Obviously the hobby vertical is a HUGE market and with 246,000 exact searches a month for hobby and 135,000 for hobbies, this domain has lots of potential ‘depending on how you value the .info’ I feel that .info if properly developed and the content appropriate, can be a killer play. Here in NY, the MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) uses MTA.info for train/bus/bridge info and schedules….
The CPC traffic is nothing to brag about; however this could be a great domain to setup as an affiliate site either thru MiniSites or WannaDevelop - below is a screen shot of the keyword search volume and approx. average Cost Per Click (CPC)

Please keep in mind this does not include searches for models, model plans/cars/train, remote control planes/cars, dollhouses, etc., etc.
You could also explore direct ad sales, a Hobby Store Directory (online and offline) and even a social platform where all hobbyist come to communicate; ask questions, share ideas and sell their work….
So bottom line – how much do you think this domain is worth? I think it’s worth what you are willing to put into it!! A true hobbyst and/or passionate hobby person can make a living off this domain in my humble opinion. It will be interesting to see how much it sells for….

A very good and shrewd friend of mine suggested at dinner tonight that I read Start-up Nation: The Story of Israel’s Economic Miracle
….. so after a great meal, drinks and conversation I decided to look up the book and read some of the reviews, which include:
“There is a great deal for America to learn from the very impressive Israeli entrepreneurial model… START-UP NATION is a playbook for every CEO who wants to develop the next generation of corporate leaders.”
(Tom Brokaw, special correspondent for NBC News, and bestselling author of The Greatest Generation )
“In the midst of the chaos of the Middle East, there’s a remarkable story of innovation. START-UP NATION is… a timely book and a much-needed celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit.”
(Meg Whitman, former CEO of eBay )
“Senor and Singer’s experience[s]…come to life in their illuminating, timely, and often surprising analysis.”
(George Stephanopoulos, anchor of ABC?s “This Week” )
There are 33+ reviews of the book at Amazon and this one caught my eye:
As a serial entrepreneur, VC and angel investor, and teacher of entrepreneurship for many years, I am enthralled by “Startup Nation”. It is a fascinating story of how Israel has succeeded disproportionately to its size and certainly to its geographic situation. It teaches valuable and unique lessons about region building and industry building. The principles of the country that stimulate individual entrepreneurial behavior in the military, in agriculture, and especially in high technology are lessons for all. I have shared the book with several leaders of industry and finance who have seen it as a remarkably interesting read.
Congratulations to the authors.
So, I am now ordering Start-up Nation: The Story of Israel’s Economic Miracle
and suggest you do too…..

I think it’s quite timely that after just returning from getting our family ski gear and with the snow starting to come down here in New York, that I just came across FloridaCoral.com on a drop list. You can now register this domain for only $7.99 a year
When I first glanced over the domain, I thought of my salt water fish tank and the coral inside. Then I starting thinking that florida coral would have decent search volume….I was right as you can see below from the google keyword research tool (on phrase match)

So if you are REALLY into coral and maybe sell salt water aquarium supplies, FloridaCoral.com might just be the perfect domain for you or it could even be then name of a retail store or food establishment named Florida Coral…..
Just wanted to share some ‘warm’ thoughts on a 16 degree day, without wind-chill…..Buurrrrr
