You can enter the Create Your Opportunity Contest between May 4 and June 14 by registering on Pitch.co and telling us and the world about your big idea, your ideal .CO web address and why you should win the contest. The more thorough, well thought-out and passionate your pitch, the more likely it is to get lots of votes from the public. Once you submit your idea, you’ll want to promote it like crazy. Get on Facebook, email, Twitter, your phone and wherever else and beg, borrow or plead to get your friends, family and strangers to vote for your entry. You must be at least 18 years old and a US resident to submit an entry.

30 pitches will be chosen by the public to move on to the final round. Plus, the judges may “save” up to 8 total pitches that don’t make the top 30 vote getters and advance them to final judgment, so make your pitch awesome. Judges will evaluate pitches based upon the originality of your idea, the completeness of your plan, your bio and background, the judge’s opinion of your ability to execute your plan and your demonstrated ability to promote your pitch. By June 20, judges from .CO and a panel of expert judges will select the overall contest winner. After you win, the real fun begins as you figure out how to spend your hard-earned cash and work with the Pappas Group, an award winning creative agency, to design and build your website.

The company generated nearly $24 billion in revenue mostly from Internet ads displayed on computer screens…The Internet-equipped televisions are expected to be made by Sony and be powered by an Intel computer chip. Google is expected to provide the software, including its Android operating system and Chrome Web browser.

I think this is wonderful for Internet Marketers as well as domainers; think about sitting on your couch and wanting pizza – just go to Pizza.com on your TV….or if you want a product sample, just go to Sample.com…want to learn about living sugar free – go to SugarFree.com; the examples go on and on.

From an internet marketing perspective, wouldn’t it be great to see a product/service advertised and then with a Picture-In-Picture window bring the website right up on your TV display!

I think the upside here is extraordinary!

My good friend and camp buddy growing-up had a marvelous idea to create an online greeting card club that would automatically send you the cards you need, in advance, for upcoming occasions and even address the envelopes for customers so all that have to do is sign the card….pretty good idea! Think about it….how many lazy males and/or ultra busy women would love to pay $X per month or every three months to have greeting cards picked and delivered for them….what a time saver!

So now of course my friend just has a beautiful baby boy and his regular job is keeping him from taking his business plan to the next step….

Anyone interested in his domains which include:

TheGreetingCardClub.com

ClubGreetingCard.com

TheBirthdayCardClub.com

Let me know…..this could be interesting and a great business for an artist!

TheLawnGuide.com – more and more recently I have heard Scott’s Lawn radio commercials…this name speaks volumes as to the content you can develop here as well as monetize…from Gardening/Lawn books to Lawnmovers, lawn bags, lawn fertilizers, lawn seeds, etc., etc. – it’s endless with Videos, How-To Guides…I could go on and on (shit maybe I’ll buy this one myself for $9, LOL)

TheKiteGuide.com – not as exciting (to me) as TheLawnGuide.com above but this too can be monetized nicely if you are passionate about kites.
